I first heard Damien Jurado as an MD for WERW at Syracuse University; Ghost of David was on serious repeat for me in the fall of the year 2000. Since then Damien has had many records and tours- many of which I have had the opportunity to see. Not what you’d call an outgoing stage presence by any means- but when your songs are as good as Damien’s I guess you don’t need it.

Damien will be sharing the stage this September and October with Okkervil River on a mammoth tour of the US.
