Tours of Note - Cake, Unlimited Sunshine

Cake is ramping up for another run of the Unlimited Sunshine tour. This is the fourth incarnation of the traveling festival of eclectic acts headlined by the always quirky Cake.
The tour kicks off at the end of this month and runs through the middle of December with 12 stops, mostly along the West and East Coast corridors. Accompanying Cake will be Brazilian Girls, Oakley Hall, Detroit Cobras, King City, and Agent Ribbons.
After mentioning this tour to a few ladies, it became clear to me that the ladies are not so much into the Cake. Is it just that the ladies I know are Cake haters? Or is Cake a dudes-only kinda band? Let us know in the comments.

I’m a lady and I LOOOVE me some Cake!! I regret not making a couple hour trip to see their NYE show in Milwaukee.

I’m a dude and I love cake, both for listening and eating…though more for listening. My girlfriend loves the cake for the eating. Maybe the women you talked to have had bad experiences with cake the food and not cake the band.

Cake is not a “dude’s” band… Just because they talk about testicles hanging from someone’s rear view mirror… They are awesome. I’d do ‘em. :-}

Cake is definitely not a guys band-I love them. Their music has great personality!

I’m a gay man & I LOVE CAKE!!! So, which side gets my vote? Not just because the lead singer is hot 4 days, either! Don’t get me wrong…I LOVE some Barbra Streisand, too, but I own all of CAKE’s music and I don’t own all of hers. Go figure….
