That’s because the guy with the Strat was not Winters but his backup guitarist. The dude was onstage for the first song and then disappeared when Johnny came out.

I have never, in all the years he’s been around, seen any photo of Johnny with a Strat or ever heard their distinctive tone on any of his recordings!! He plays a Lazer and the Firebird!
