Live Video: Led Zeppelin
December 11th, 2007 - by Eddie
The greatest band in the world reunited last night (Dec. 10) in London. Above is video from the opening I found on YouTube from the user “backpackdave” (sadly, not our Dave).
And here’s a story that has some footage of fans and what they did to get to the concert.
The reviews? They’ve all been positive. I even overheard a guy in the bathroom say “I saw that video too! I can’t WAIT till they tour.”
(The only negative word surrounding the show has been the ticket scandal that happened).
Sadly, my co-worker with the disturbingly loud bowel movements may have to wait a long time…you know, forever.
Plant has already started saying that this was a “one-off concert,” which warms my heart since it ensures that I’ll never see the band live. That’s fine. I’ll never crap gold either.

Howdy,
Cheers!
LOL. You found and downloaded this little humble video of mine taken from the nosebleed section. Sadly, due to two previous copyright complaints from the copyright owners of first, The Village People and, second, Grand Funk Railroad sans Mark Farner, You Tube has decided to can my account after having received this round of complaints from Warner or Greyzone. The encouraging sign as of this evening (Thursday evening, 13 December) is that You Tube has re-enabled the playing of almost everyone’s videos from the Led Zeppelin. My account’s disability seems to have been upgraded from “permanently disabled” to merely “disabled.” Whether or not this is You Tube-speak to a snails pace recovery remains to be seen. At any rate, I’m happy that I have been of some use to you guys, and hope I’ll soon be able to get back to doing more of this for the likes of yawl on You Tube or elsewhere

Dear mb,
It has been months …! But I didn’t even know that you’d actually posted a reply to me regarding GFR. Thanks.
You Tube did reinstate my account after that complainant over the Led Zeppelin videos withdrew the claim, so my account was up and running again until April, when someone else (Eric Carmen and the Raspberries), whose performance that I had uploaded a month before the Led Zeppelin show, complained.
Having finally accrued three strikes my You Tube account is now gone, and for now I have no intention of faking a new identity in order to secure a new You Tube account.
Instead, I have been adding to the Blip.TV account (http://backpackdave.blip.tv/) that I opened in the midst of the Led Zeppelin reunion-excitement before Christmas, whose latest footage include Roger Waters (Dark Side of the Moon Side A: http://blip.tv/file/864779/) and a select few from Coachella 2008, as well as a few videos from when Duran Duran, on its current “comeback” Red Carpet Massacre tour, played in Adxelaide, South Australia.
Best of everything to you at 52 Shows!
Dave
