Morrissey’s roadie for a day
January 29th, 2008 - by Dave
Morrissey is one temperamental dude. No doubt about it. With songs like Everyday is Like Sunday, Girlfriend in a Coma, Heaven Knows I’m Miserable Now, he raised the act of moping to an artform.
How about having the Mozzer as your boss?
Andrew Winters was looking for a job and then he found a job — as an assistant road manager for Morrissey. He only lasted one day.
The interview process screened out rabid fans, sloppy dressers, and stubborn carnivores. Winters passed the tests and flew from the UK to LA to begin attending to Morrissey’s band members. He took on a vegan diet. He found out that Morrissey hates both boring people and pushy people equally. And then after spending one night out with Morrissey and crew, Winters awoke to an email dismissing him from the entourage.
Ouch, Moz that’s just cold.
Go read I was Morrissey’s roadie on the TimesOnline … the only thing funnier than the story is the comment war over whether or not Morrissey really is a giant a-hole.
