Tours of Note: Van Morrison

News

Van Morrison

That’s right friends. Van freaking Morrison is going on tour. It’s only three stops because Van can do whatever the hell he wants like blaming the Internet for the evil in the world or telling Qtrax to screw off.

It’s all to promote his March 17 album “Keep It Simple,” though that won’t stop people yelling “Moondance!” at the senior citizen on stage.

I’ve never seen Van live and is definitely on my “Would kill to see” list (Perhaps I’ll post that list sometime in the future).

Here’s the Morrison tour:

March 11: Austin Music Hall, Austin TX
March 13: Ryman Auditorium, Nashville, TN
March 14: Wang Theatre, Boston MA

Tickets: $53-$303

THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS? So a multitude of bands at Coachella equals one Van Morrison concert (where he’ll probably play mostly new stuff). I guess I could see that.
