I really appreciate your review. You managed to justly encompass the roiling, mystical phenomenon of this group’s live show in your forthright words.

Ours is one of my favorite musical artists of all time, and I’d waited 8 years to see them…but when I did, not only was I staggered by their potency, but their humility. Which I’m sure I made difficult by bumbling like a 6 year old talking to a superhero for the first 5 minutes. Each member has a certain confidence…or perhaps serenity in there countenance…something that registers that they know exactly where they are, what they’re doing, and who their doing it for. I was just as inspired by the conversations I had with them after the show as I was by their performance.

Hey Paula, thanks for reading.

Unfortunately I did not keep a setlist. I was busy taking pictures and enjoying the show.

The band played Miseryhead after the audience requested it, and I know they also played Here Is The Light. However, like i said, it was an abbreviated set and they had to cut a lot out.

Most of the stuff was new and really great, so please get the disc if you haven’t yet and check out the songs before you see them live.

I’ve also been listening to Ours since about 2000, but have never had the chance to see them live.. and they are FINALLY coming to the area next month – to say I am excited is an immense understatement.

Did they play a lot from Distorted Lullabies?
